is there a way i can get my free credit report…?
i tried to get a free credit report, but i didn’t read the fine print dirrr, i went to experian.com from my credit card’s site. It said i was entitled to 3 free credit reports a year, so i went to the site to sign up, i guess they also signed me up for a membership while i was at it, so i need to cancel that. their site says "this is not the free credit report under law, for that go to annualcreditreport.com, so i went to that but it turned me around to sign up with experian before i could get this…. wtf???
wow and i had to be on the phone for 10 min all i was saying is can i please cancel my membership, i kept repeating the sentence and he still went on and on about how and why i should keep it… had to say it 5 times before he did so.
Each year you are entitled to one free credit report from each of the three credit reporting agencies from the following site:
https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i…
You can get all three reports at the same time, or get them at different times during the year.
Note: Despite the misleading name, https://www.freecreditreport.com charges for credit reports. Don’t fall for the gimmick.

You have to go to a different site for your free report. You are entitled to a free report from each agency once a year. I get one from Transunion in April, Experian in August, and Equifax in December, so I get free reports three times a year. If you go to the agencies site they ask you to become a member and they charge you for the report and try to sell you your credit score. the free report does not include the credit score. you have to pay for that. you get the free report at

Annual Credit Report is the free site you can use once a year, but it is a site run and managed by all 3 credit bureaus, so watch the fine print! Most people who have a credit monitoring service (I do!) are constantly watching their credit reports for errors and ID theft. Something I went through my self!
It’s assuming a lot on their part to think you want monitoring, but they do this because once people see the negatives in their credit reports, they also want to challenge them and this often cannot be done in a 30 day preiod and not having credit monitoring is like driving while blind!
Go to my website and read it all! It sounds like you have some areas of your report you need to deal with. I dont have a free copy of your report for you, but I went through credit repair after a bankruptcy and an ID theft so if you find items you want to challenge, my information will be helpful to you and my wensite is free!
I got my score up from a lousy stinking 486 to a good 729 in a little over a year! I put a free link to Annual Credit Report in my site too for others to use.

You can get it at annualcreditreport.com free for all three on the net
you can also call each credit reporting agency and request one each year as well.
Watch out for those products offering items to watch your credit – I work in the fraud department of one of the credit reporting agencies and fraud is rampid – be careful
Also anytime you dispute your credit you will always receive an updated copy of your credit file after the investigation at no charge

Anytime you challenge anything successfully, they send a new, free report, so you just have to keep sucessfully challenging at least one thing from each report and you can keep getting free reports for months.
